"Best sites of Lofoten"
(May and June)

A travel in between all the islands of Lofoten, passing cosy fishing villages and idyllic fjords…

In this Liveaboard diving week we put together the best selection of dive sites in all of Lofoten. Historical and exiting wrecks (see "Wreck archive"), the finest nature diving with canyons, areas where we easily can pick up shells and fish dinner for social gatherings. Steep walls and exiting drift areas in Raftsundet, Nappstrømmen and Moskenesstrømmen … The world largest mal drift; A complete Sea-area floating as a river!

Lofotodden

Here as the only place along the Norwegian coastline, the Coast drift aims against the north and mixes with the tidewater: All the amount of water seeks to pass in between and around the Lofoten islands.
This creates the most fantastic Arctic marine life you possible can experience: Carpets of colourful soft corals, the highest forest of giant kelp, shoals of fish and the seal colonies.

You reach the climax when you try to dive with the largest seals (Norwegian called Havvert) in the world largest whirl drift area! They are both curious and acrobatic.
Here Lofotdykk has also found the most amazing canyons and portals.
This is a real adventure area! But also demanding, so due to the weather we choose the best days of the week here.

The above water sceneries have the same qualities: From giant white sandy beaches the mountain walls goes straight up, colonies of birds, enormous caves – some with more than 1000 year old paintings. No cars, only the silence and the whistling from the drifting sea… We use the time in between the dives to explore this!

Free tickets to Viking museum Borg or Lofoten Aquarium is also included.
